I

was on cloud nine when I got an invitation to attendHarley Rock Riders Season 3, Bangalore. An event by Harley-Davidson India. Photo by Jim Ankan Deka Harley Rock Riders Season 3 in Bangalore. The event was organised by Harley-Davidson India at Clarks Exotica hotel on Nov 24. Though the venue was little far from my place, I agreed immediately as few of my favorite bands from India were performing and also, it was an opportunity to see some of the mean machines from Harley-Davidson.

Harley Rock Riders in India was started in 2010 with a purpose of encouraging indigenous rock bands by providing them a unique platform to showcase their talent. Harley-Davidson India commenced operations in August 2009 and appointed its first dealership in July 2010.

The spectacle at Bangalore started at noon with bands like The News, Solder, Frank Got The News, Light Years and Galeej Gurus. Later in the evening, the spectators were mesmerized by Kryptos from Bangalore, Boomerang from Mizoram and Soulmate from the state of Meghalaya. Wolf, the heavy metal band from Sweden graced the grand finale along with Indian Sitar player Sanjeev Korti.

The event also saw Harley-Davidson Boot Camps to cater to existing and potential customers to come and experience the Harley-Davidson bikes, Tattoo Booths, Cannon photo shoot booths and Graffiti and Art installations. Harley Davidson India managing director Anoop Prakash was also seen giving away one of the models for free.
