Federico Modica, is one of our international IPA Staff Members. He resides in Predazzo, Trento, Italy.
Predazzo lies in the center of the Valle di Fiemme among the Dolomites. The most populated town of the region, it is both a summer and winter resort. Once a mining industry, the town is now quite a tourist attraction. The natural features of the area have garnered it with the title of “Geologic Garden of the Alps”. The areas volcanic origins make it geographically interesting and put forth interesting flora and fauna.
Besides the splendors of nature, there are entertainment, sports, and cultural events to partake in. Skiing is ever popular with the ski centers Latemar and Bellamonte close by. Unique churches and the town’s museum help to uplift and educate. Predazzo truly is the perfect place to get to know the Valle di Fiemme and the Alps.
