[one_half]The Oyster Perpetual Sky-Dweller presented at BASELWORLD 2012 is the latest addition to the Oyster collection. With 14 patents the Sky-Dweller provides the information global travellers need to easily keep track of time: a dual time zone, with local time read via centre hands and a reference time display in 24-hour format read via a rotating off-centre disc visible on the dial. The Sky-Dweller is also equipped with a new calibre, the 9001, an officially certified Swiss chronometer entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex.[/one_half][one_half_last]Chopard unveils at BASELWORLD, the L.U.C 8HF model. This exceptional timepiece houses the first high-frequency (8Hz) escapement to have successfully undergone the rigorous tests conducted by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC), a token of excellent precision and reliability. Entirely in keeping with the futuristic movement housed within, the 42 mm-diameter case of the L.U.C 8HF model is made of titanium. It is water-resistant to 30 meters and distinguished by its crown at 4 o’clock, also in titanium and bearing the L.U.C logo.[/one_half_last]

Tread 2 continues the use of the Tread 1’s patented movement technology employing an innovative system of fiberglass-reinforced nylon Time Belts. The belts are only 2/1000 th’s of an inch thick and are a technology appropriated directly out of the cockpits of airliners like the Boeing 747. The belts are mounted on a central chassis and driven by two extremely compact microstep motors.[/one_half][one_half_last]With the Real moon series Christiaan van der Klaauw Astronomical Watches presents a number of masterpieces with a three dimensional moon at the six o clock position as a unique complication. Each Real moon Astronomical Watch features a rotating moon showing the actual phase of the moon. The moon rotates around the earth in 29 days, 12 hours and 44 minutes. Every 1,971,000 days the Real moon complication will show a deviation of only 1 day.[/one_half_last]
