The article, photos, and video by Len Rapoport • IPA Correspondents Andy Peeke and Amy Bursor

The NY International Auto Show opened on April 3rd through the 12th and once again has outdone itself.  This is the show that will take more than a full day to cover unless you just want to stroll the floors of this fantastic show.

Now with the North Hall showcasing some of the smaller foreign entries the remaining center was filled with high performance, concept and energy-efficient vehicles.

The Show offers a huge selection of vehicles sold in the U.S.  giving consumers the unique opportunity to see much of what the auto industry has to offer. From fuel-efficient cars to multi-million dollar supercars, this show has something for everyone

How did we cover a show like this?  Well, the press is fortunate to have two Press Days that enable us to get the photos videos we need without the public getting in the way.

We then return back on Sunday to capture some of the excitement of the public days.  You will see some of the many fun activities at the show in our videos.

Sport Cars

See the hot new Aston Martin Vulcan 2.7 million dollar entry, Buratti’s 2.25 Million Dollar classic and Porsche’s 911 Targa 4 GTS Convertible top with roll bar…Base $130,000+, car in video $170,000…If you have some spare change you too can enjoy one of these high-performance beauties.

Special Exhibits and Activities

There is so much to do and see at this show that one day is really not enough time.  If you are shopping for a new car, this show is a must.

Not only will you see the cars in the showrooms now, but you will have a glimpse into the future and see a preview of some of the 2016 cars that usually start to get into the showrooms in the late fall.

Now if you aren’t looking to buy a new car anytime soon, but just love going to this show every year as we do, then there are a number of very cool exhibits and activities.  Here are some of the images we shot of these exhibits.

Jeep Camp Ride Along & Our Bloopers

We loved the Jeep Camp Ride Along and once again this year we shot both Andy and Amy taking their ride and each one individually.  We also loved some of the outtakes or Bloopers so we included them in this article as well.  You don’t want to miss these very funny videos…CLICK HERE FOR MORE
