WHAT:             The world-famous Radio City Rockettes are kicking off the holiday season with rehearsals for a new 2011 production of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular featuring new scenes, new Rockette choreography, new costumes and state-of-the-art technology that will immerse audiences in the magic of Christmas like never before! On Wednesday, October 12, catch the very first look into 2011 Rockette rehearsals as the Rockettes perform new choreography from the Christmas Spectacular. As the stars of the legendary Christmas Spectacular, the Rockettes will move the new production forward as they showcase their signature precision dance style and debut some of the most challenging and ground-breaking Rockette numbers that have ever been conceived.

ABOUT THE RADIO CITY CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR: The 2011 production of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, starring the world-famous Radio City Rockettes, will be the most dynamic production to grace the Great Stage, running November 11 – January 2, 2012. Tickets are on sale now! America’s favorite holiday show is about to re-define the Christmas Spectacular featuring a new 3DLive video game adventure, new Rockette performances, new musical compositions and heartwarming songs, dazzling new costumes and state-of-the-art technology alongside cherished numbers that have been featured in the show since 1933. Using cutting edge technology, audiences will be part of an immersive holiday experience, as scenery extends beyond the stage transforming the interior of Radio City into a magical canvas.

The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, starring the Radio City Rockettes, will run from November 11, 2011 through January 2, 2012. Prices range from $45 – $125. A limited number of premium tickets are also available for all performances. Tickets are available online at  www.radiocitychristmas.com http://www.radiocitychristmas.com/ or at the Radio City Box Office (50th Street and Avenue of the Americas). Box Office hours are Monday through Sunday, 11:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tickets may also be purchased by calling the Ticketmaster Christmas Hotline at 1-866-858-0007 or at any Ticketmaster outlets. Ticket prices include a $4.50 facility charge. Tickets purchased via Ticketmaster are subject to service charges. Please call 1-866-858-0007 for more information.
