“As one of the photo industry’s biggest and most respected equipment competitions, the Hot One Awards represents the best new gear as chosen by a panel of independent professional photographers. This year’s winners are a collection of innovative new products from a group of companies performing at the top of their game,” said Jeff Kent, Hot One Editor, Professional Photographer magazine.

This is the 13th year of the contest, which has always been judged by a panel of independent professional photographers (none employed by the magazine). This year’s panel was comprised of 22 photographers from all over the country who have an expert knowledge of photography equipment. The winning products will be showcased in the February issue Professional Photographer magazine.
